Sensorineural hearing loss
Stirrup

 

Sensorineural hearing loss
This is the most common form of hearing loss. It happens when some of the delicate hair cells inside the cochlea are damaged and therefore unable to transform the sound vibrations into electrical signals for the brain.A sensorineural hearing loss is permanent.
