Hearing aids need special batteries in order to work. These batteries are extremely small. They can last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on your type of hearing aid, your hearing loss, and on how many hours you use the hearing aids each day.

It’s a good idea to bring spare batteries to school or on trips – in case the ones you’re using run out.

You must never ever put the batteries in your mouth!!! If it happens by accident and you swallow a battery ask you parents to take you to the doctor right away.
