The audiogram shows how well you can hear. Some people have trouble hearing high-pitched tones - like birds singing or a violin playing. Others find it hard to hear low-pitched sounds - like a bass or traffic in the street.

If you look at your audiogram you will see lots of O’s and X’s. The O’s show what you can hear with your right ear, and the X’s show what you can hear with your left ear. If you only have a problem with one ear there will only be one set of marks.
